AlTiN

The HDP AlTiN is a broad-band application coating with high resistance to oxidation, maintaining high surface hardness at relatively high application temperature and exhibiting excellent toughness when submitted to mechanical stress.

AlTiN improves tool life in applications with high cutting speeds and with hard and dry machining (MQL). We recommend AlTiN for applications such as milling and drilling. Due to its fine structure and morphology HDP AlTiN is also suitable for micro drills and miniature tools.
