CrN
CrN is characterized by its corrosion resistance, with comparable advantages to hard chrome plating, but significantly better adhesion and higher hardness. The coating can be polished very well, resulting in very dense and smooth surfaces.
In addition to its good demouldability, CrN is used for processing metals such as copper, brass, bronze, nickel silver and galvanized or tinned sheet steel.
