TiCN
TiCN is a further development of our TiN coating and is mainly characterised by high hardness and favourable toughness. With its good anti-abrasive and anti-sticking properties, TiCN demonstrates great results with tools made from High-speed steel (HSS).
TiCN is mostly used in thread cutting and forming, gear hobbing, broaching, sawing, forming, blanking of stainless steel and in the injection moulding of carbon fiber or glass fiber-reinforced plastics.
